On Friday, the IPL 2023 schedule was disclosed, with the opening match on March 31st featuring defending champions Gujarat Titans against Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Each team will play seven home and seven away matches during the tournament.
The tournament will be held across 12 venues, which include Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Dharamsala.
The teams have been split into two groups.
Group A –
Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
Group B –
Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
