Rinku played a key role in Uttar Pradesh’s successful campaign in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2018-19. He scored 283 runs in nine matches at an average of 35.37 and a strike rate of 146.89. His performances helped Uttar Pradesh reach the final of the tournament, where they lost to Mumbai.

Rinku’s form continued to impress in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy season. He scored 522 runs in nine matches at an average of 47.45, including two centuries and two half-centuries. His highest score of the season was 150 not out against Railways, which helped Uttar Pradesh win the match by an innings and 23 runs. Rinku’s performances earned him a call-up to the India A team for the tour of New Zealand in early 2020.

IPL Career
