23-year-old rapper MC Stan, whose real name is Altaf Tadavi, has emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 16, a popular Indian reality show. He defeated fellow contestants Shalin Bhanot, Priyanka Chahar, Shiv Thakare, and Archana Gautam in the finale. Altaf, who is based in Pune, began his music career at the age of 12 as a qawwali singer and later adopted the stage name MC Stan, inspired by Eminem’s single “Stan”.
Altaf rose to fame in 2018 with the release of his song “Wata” and has since released several successful albums, including “Insaan” and “Tadipaar”. He is estimated to have a net worth of INR 15-20 crore, primarily through his music and social media presence. Before entering Bigg Boss 16, Altaf had over a million followers on Instagram, and after winning the show, his following has grown to over 7 million. During his time on Bigg Boss 16, Altaf was paid a weekly salary of INR 7 lakh and took home an estimated INR 1 crore and 26 lakh after spending approximately 18 weeks in the house. For winning the competition, he received an additional prize of INR 31 lakh 80 thousand, along with a trophy and a brand new Grand i10 Nios.
Despite his young age, Altaf leads an extravagant lifestyle and owns several high-end items, including expensive sneakers, jewelry, designer clothes, and luxury cars. In one of his Instagram posts, he showed off a pair of Jordan shoes worth INR 80,000, which went viral and surprised him. He is often seen wearing costly jewelry, including a diamond pendant, bracelet, and ring worth INR 1.5 crore. Altaf also sports labels like Versace, Louis Vuitton, and Prada, with a Louis Vuitton jacket he wore on the show costing INR 5 lakh and a Louis Vuitton t-shirt worth INR 2.5 lakh. His car collection includes a Cadillac Escalade worth INR 1.20 crore and a Mercedes Maybach worth INR 3.80 crore.
