Abhishek’s thriller is still a hot item since its release last Friday. After Brahamastra’s theatrical run, the film Drishyam 2ends the drought at the box office.

The Ajay Devgan starrer earned 15.38 crore on its first day. Analysts had expected it to earn between 13-15 crore. It was the second-highest Bollywood opening of 2022. The film earned 56.76 million, making it the second-best Bollywood weekend of 2022.

Drishyam 2 is breaking records with his incredible performance at the ticket window. According to early trends reports, the film already has 76.01 million. The thriller also earned between 10-11 crores on Tuesday. The total collection will be Rs 86.01-87.01 crores.

Despite the Monday drop, the film is still in double figures on weekdays. Based on its pace, Abhishek Pathak’s thriller will likely reach the 100-crore club on Thursday. This genre differs from big-ticket action films that open well but continue to sustain.

It stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta as the central roles. The film also features an ensemble cast that includes Akshaye Khanna and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Abhishek Panak and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The film’s collection tells an entirely different story.
